I have a dream to create art that matters. Quality art. My guess is that you do as well…
I also have a dream to care for the poor and financially support projects that are impacting / saving lives. Fair Trade Creative is a way that we can serve both of these purposes.
Design, Web, Branding, Marketing
I have been working on design projects since the turn of the century (wow, that sounds like a long time) when I started a T-shirt & design company with a similar vision called Motown Rags. We gave 10% of all profits to support an inner-city youth ministry just outside of Hartford, CT, USA. From 2007 – 2010 I was a part of creating Sayvee.com – a website builder for artists. After selling that company to Bandzoogle.com I have been quite involved with
TribeHouse Artist Collective and constantly running into artists and friends with small companies who need “help” with album artwork, website design, SEO, logos, branding etc…

Who is “we”?
I am collobarating with quality graphic and web designers to create websites, album artwork, book covers, logos, business cards, and branding for a “fair” price and then giving a portion of the profits towards certain causes that we care about. For example, the website hosting fees that our clients pay provide food and clothing for Mariam, a young girl living at the
Kampala Children’s Centre in Uganda – a place I visited a few years ago.
It’s a win+win+win.
SEO
We have also partnered with another company who offers SEO for websites wanting to get killer rankings on Google. May I add that we don’t work with “anyone” and don’t farm this out to underpaid workers (hence the name Fair Trade) but several of us have come together to serve business / individuals / artists with their design needs so that we can help the less fortunate with the profits.
